What to say An institution in Cologne. Not only the goose meal around Christmas time, also otherwise always worth a culinary trip. The wine list is great, the location is very cozy. Always happy!

We are just thrilled! Last week we picked up two servings of goose plate dishes and were happy first of all about the generous portions, but then also about the quality and taste of the ingredients! Nobody has yet managed to get to my mother's duck but here ... :-) Of course I won't tell my mom like that. We'll be back soon!

A real bright spot in Corona times: very tasty food, perfectly presented

We ordered and picked up 2 servings of St. Martin's goose. What can I say: it was perfect! 20 min. Kitchen at home and we had an absolutely top meal here at home! I can only recommend it to everyone who is in the mood for goose! It was packed perfectly and there was also a note on how exactly to do it. Anyone with an oven and stove can do that!

Cozy and down-to-earth in the best sense of the word

Very cozy, rustic wine tavern with an excellent selection of drinks (focus on German wine) and dishes (French influence). The service is attentive, professional and has everything under control, the operating couple are very nice and courteous. We would love to come back!

I have never been advised so nicely, wittily and competently. The food was great. The fish soup is a dream. The ambience very nice and the prices reasonable. Everything was fine.

Excellent wine and very good traditional cuisine. In addition, a very friendly service. Very cozy on the terrace, especially in summer. Real flowers instead of plastic flowers on the table would be even nicer;)

Always delicious. After a long time there again to goose dinner. Delicious. The meat very tender. Red cabbage, dumplings and sauce were plentiful. Could have ordered even more. Good wine selection. And a delicious Rosesekt on ice. We recommend. My goose for Christmas Eve is already ordered there.

Great food, wines and service. The owners are amazingly friendly and they have a real passion for their food and wines. They know where their products and ingredients are sourced from which they use and are knowledgeable about their wines.

Family atmosphere with high quality food. Not cheap but qualitatively well justified. The Riesling fine herb was a highlight! Otherwise we would have the salad with goat cheese, vegetables and asparagus with shrimp. Everything between 13 and 18 €.

Food is excellent. They use quality products and prepare it to perfection. The plates are always well presented. They have a good selection of vegetarian, seafood and meat meals. They also have a seasonal menu. Wide selection of wines, sekts and other drinks. Service was on point. Waitress was friendly, fast and helpful. Outdoor tables or indoor tables are both great.

Great atmosphere inside or out. Great service, food is good. Menu changes about every six weeks according to the season. If you are there during goose season I highly recommend ordering. Owners are present, very friendly, and they care about making their customers feel welcome. Apple tart is to die for! Excellent wine list!
